PREPARATION WORKSHOP MATH REVIEW FOR THE ILLINOIS TEACHER CERTIFICATION BASIC SKILLS TEST

THE PRICE FOR THESE WORKSHOPS HAVE BEEN LOWERED FROM $150.00 TO $100.00 PER 3 WORKSHOPS!

This 3 week workshop reviews the content, problem-solving and mathematical reasoning skills needed to help participants prepare for the math portion of the Illinois Certification Basic Skills Test.

The $100.00 workshop registration fee includes:

• Preparation materials
• Study Guides
• Diagnostic exam

THE DATES OF THE NEXT WORKSHOP TO PREPARE FOR THE BASIC SKILLS EXAM ON OCTOBER 4, 2008 ARE AS FOLLOWS:

• SEPTEMBER 13, 2008
• SEPTEMBER 20, 2008
• AND SEPTEMBER 27, 2008

The workshops are held in the Academic Resource Center from 9:00 a.m. to noon on these 3 Saturdays!

Beginning with the Fall 2008 term, background checks for GSU’s professional education unit programs will be done by Certified Background.com. Certified Background performs its background checks without the use of fingerprints. Candidates can initiate their background checks online at http://certifiedbackground.com. Click on the “Students” button. Use the the package code “go03″. The cost of the background check process will be $39, payable by debit or credit card, or money order. There will be additional charges of $13 each for any candidate residencies in counties outside the state of Illinois in the last seven years.
